These unique pen and ink, colored pencil
and watercolor drawings reveal all the passion and imagination that Hawaii and her history has brought to this artist.
Depicting Hawaiians engaged in fishing, canoeing, hunting, weaving and dancing; the essential elements
for sustaining life and the Polynesian culture in the islands.
Intricate and provacative patterns adorn the borders, reminisant of the beatifully made tapa cloths with their
geometric designs; and family tatoos (TATAO) originated in Polynesia.
